Title

TS2022 context 218
Description
en
Deposit of ashes, possibly from burnt wall.
Interpretation
en
This context was revealed after the complete excavation of C214. It has a very dark brown, ashy color and very clear limits that create a corner that, if extended, aligns with C219 (also a deposit of ashes). At first impression, we thought it could be a hearth, but the very high quantity of big chunks of CBM from the context right above (C214)led us to believe it's the remains of a burnt wall. In addition to that, some of the big chunks of CBM from the C214 were also burnt from the one side, which adds to the previous assumption. Soil sample was collected.
