Certainty of interpretation
Interpretation
The layer is next to the wall, which including many layers of ash. It supposed that human burn something and spread the ash around continuously until it becomes a flat layer. The quantity of finds is small, and pottery is late Neolithic phase I. C630 is cut by C631 and below C601.
1: The ash could be abandoned at this area again and again and spread out smoothly regularly continuously.
2: Human just burn something at this area, and smoth out the ash after burning.
There are lots of charcoal, making the soil dark, but the ash layer didn't disturb C631 which is a clear round area.
1. The C631 was a struture build before C630.,since it was already exist and the fire didn't destroy it,but only some charcoal remain at the boundary which can be seen on the plan.
