Deposit as continuity from C202 ＆ C207 from last season (2022)
Interpretation
C231 is the deposit as continuity of C202 (east side of trench) and C205 (west side of trench). It's the deposit we want to remove to reach the house floor. We excavated it as two artificial layers. In the first artificial layer we still can found porcelain and glass which means it's: still disturbed. In this second artificial layer, we found a surface with ashy, powdery soil which is the same as the one we defined as the house floor. The more we excavate to the south, the more the findings get bigger and so the quantity especially the animal bone. There might be a pit around south west corner, we haven't defined its limit. According to the bone specialist, the animal bones we found there are all the end of the limbs. with many different species. The discussion of the west side.
For the eastern side of the trench. We only excavate southern and Eastern part to reach the house floor layer so be equal as the west side. We found many chipped stone on the south east, and one whitish circular feature at Northern part. It's context 244. It's unexacted.
