Description

SU 10002 represents a more compact, light greyish brown soil located in the western half of trench 10000. SU 10002 had low levels of ceramic, bone, small stones (approximately fist-sized or slightly larger), and several coins. Overall, SU 10002 likely represents the long-term accumulation of soil and material after the initial period of collapse and abandonment. SU 10002 was likely equivalent to SU 10003.
