C642 is a layer below C636. there isn't any finds, and the soil is compound.It could be the layer between archaeology (C636), and natural (C644), so it's soil mixed.
And it was also truncated by cut which is C639 (with cut 640) and C643(with cut C645).
Excavate about 10cm then the soil become pale and without any artifact which may be the natural soil (C644)
