Interpretation
Attempt to identify nature of sediment to south of wall. Late Neolithic 1 pottery found throughout. Context dug through 3 stratigraphic layers and into 4th layer that comprised context 1009.
First layer: light soil with limestone inclusions (elevation 72.402)
Second layer: light grey soil with limestone inclusions (elevation unrecorded)
Third layer: browny orange soil
Fourth layer: black ashy layer (context 1009).
