Description

en

SU 10034 represents the layer underneath the loose construction fill that was piled up against the wall SU 10046, a construction fill which was excavated as SU 10011, SU 10024, and SU 10029. SU 10034 was likely the layer that the builders were standing on when they constructed wall SU 10046, as SU 10034 appears to run under the wall. SU 10034 was relatively loose throughout, though the surface was more compact, differentiating it from the fills above. SU 10034 contained large amounts of coarse broken pottery, as well as many bone and shell fragments. Otherwise, 10034 was uniform throughout.
