Excavation unit description
SS2024 context 101, unit G7, stick 2. Stick 2 was planned for 10 cm, time restraints limited the depth dug to 5 cm. The earth was brown, clayish and hard similar to context 101 G7 stick 1, but there were significantly fewer finds of flint, burned clay and charcoal. In the middle of the unit, five stones (circa 5 cm in diameter each) lay close together.
