Interpretation
The context 635 corresponds to a thin layer of soil found under the skeleton c623. According to the composition, the compaction, the colour the location and the depth, this layer may have been the result of decomposed body tissues and possibly organic material upon which the body was laid. Indeed, the layer seems to thick to be the result of the only decomposition of the body and bioturbations. The sample analysis could help to give a more accurate interpretation to this specific layer.
