SU 8018 represents a construction trench cut into SU 8014, a red fill overlying bedrock SU 8029 in the western half of Area B, as well as bedrock SU 8029 for the laying of the pair of large stones SU 8027 in the NW corner of Area B. SU 8018 is filled by SU 8019.
The bottom of cut SU 8018 was in a space too narrow to record, but should be roughly equivalent to the quarried bedrock in the north-eastern corner of Area B, where a large foundation stone (continuous with SU 8027) had at some point been robbed out. The robbed out, quarried bedrock elevation in this NW corner of Area B is listed as number 3 in the elevations.
