SU 8012 was a red inclusion layer with some brown streaks. SU 8012 covered the expanse of roughly the eastern half of the trench and was heavily included with up to the size of golf ball chucks of mortar and rocks. SU 8012 was also heavily packed with material culture throughout, including ceramic, bone, mortar, and plaster. SU 8012 overlied SU 8016, and seemed almost equal to it but was arbitrarily assigned a new SU for control as soil textures began to change, but the fill seemed similar.
