Description

Trench 5 was located in the northeast part of the site. It was a 2x2 meters shovel test dug to detect or deny the presence of preserved cultural layers.
The trench initially seemed to have a complex structure, so it was dug with some caution. At about 30 cm it was found a relatively large amount of late mesolithic artifacts, mainly arrowheads, as well as parts of them. They were scattered in the trench, spatially, with a certain concentration in the northwestern part.
At the same level, an intact skeleton of pigs was also found, from which samples were taken from a canine for C-14 analysis. C-14 analysis, however, showed that they were the remains of a modern individual and thus it can also be noted that the excavated soil masses in the trench were agitated. The remains of the pig were not fully removed. By the way, most categories of late mesolithic artifacts were found in this trench.
