Description

en SU 10052 represents a small, round cut in SU 10051. SU 10052 was filled with the soil of SU 10041 above. Cut SU 10052 goes as deep as the bedrock (SU?) below, cutting through the entire depth of SU 10051. SU 10052 could represent a cut for a post or maybe some sort of lifting mechanism as it is associated with the work surface used first phase of the building was constructed. SU 10052 may also represent prospecting the bedrock below (i.e. digging through the natural substrate of SU 10052 to see if there is usable/quarryable bedrock below).
