Description

en

SU 10083 represents the eastern end of the main E-W wall running through the western walled structure, east of the blocked doorway 10082. The size of the block at the eastern end of 10083 and the size of the stones in the foundation 10059 below it, show the structural importance of these section of the wall. The wall is constructed of large sandstone blocks with smaller stones in the gaps in between, without mortar. 10083 is much more clearly bonded to 10046 than 10047, though all seem to have been constructed in the same phase.
