Description

en SU 10059 represents the foundation course under wall segments 10046, 10047, and 10083. 10059 does not extend further west because it did not originally continue under the doorway that was blocked (10082). 10059 is constructed almost entirely of basalt stones, many of which are rounded. The size of the stones varies, with the largest ones measuring 30-40 cm under 10083, whereas under 10047 the stones are much smaller, 10-20 cm. 10059 was constructed on the equivalent work surfaces 10049, 10051, and 10074.
