Description

en

SU 10073 represents the work surface on which the western walled structure was constructed, equivalent to 10074, 10050, and 10051. As with the equivalent SUs, 10073 was only 10-20 cm deep, lying atop natural bedrock (10056). Many small basalt stones were found in 10073, though not as many as in 10067. In both 10073 and 10067, these stones seem to be the discard from the construction of the foundation course 10081, which were left to be part of the subfloor fill of surface 10067.
