Description

en SU 10032 represents a fill of brown soil south of the large wall (SU 10062) in Extension B. SU 10032 is equal to SU 10016, a deep homogenous fill of loose brown dirt extending down 30-40 cm from the bottom courses of the monumental wall to the yellowish brown compact layer that we stopped at before opening the extension. There were moderate amounts of cultural material and stones within the soil matrix, but not notable amounts in quantity or quality. SU 10032 and SU 10016 both also met the top of the lower basalt boulder. SU 10032, like SU 10016, seems to be some sort of large leveling fill on which the large wall was constructed.
