Description

en SU 10023 represents the loose upper layer of abandonment accumulation in the northwest corner of Expansion A. SU 10023 was most directly equivalent to SU 10007, although SU 10023 was part of the same process of accumulation as SU 10028, which itself is equivalent to SU 10010 and SU 10013. Although SU 10023 contained some material culture, such as fragments of tile and stone, there was much less material culture than in the layers above. SU 10023 was part of a long form accumulation after abandonment, and given that the space was at the back of a building with walls still standing, this kept most material from adding to the accumulation, resulting in an emptier matrix.
