Phase type

en Fill

Description

en SU 10022 represents a thick fill with a compact surface located throughout the area of Extension B. SU 10022 was equivalent to SU 10012, which itself was a continuation of SU 10011, which extended all the way up the trench to the eastern north-south wall. SU 10022 covered the continuation of the large wall abutting the basalt boulders, and the depth of SU 10022 increased further east as the wall itself dove down more. SU 10022 was relatively devoid of finds, with some rocks interspersed and low levels of very broken and worn ceramics and shell. SU 10022 appears to be part of the massive leveling event that covered the basalt stones abutting the eastern walled structure, and the cut sandstone block, meeting the wall of the structure in the west.
