SU 8006 represents a red-grey rubble fill across the entirety of Area A. Though we originally opened SU 8006 before removing 8005, upon the removal of SU 8005, we found that SU 8006 continued underneath SU 8005. SU 8006 was thickly included with pottery shreds, fist to golf ball sized pieces of sandstone, tile fragments, and charcoal. SU 8006 possessed some areas of redder soil toward the middle of the western extent of Area A, but was consistent in terms of texture and inclusions otherwise across SU 8006.
The extension of SU 8006 in the small space at the north end of Drain 3 was not captured in photogrammatry.
